I bought 4 gig for a 32 bit system. It saw only 3.25 gig on XP and on Linux Knoppix sd Spawn. So it is the
mother board holding the ram back not the OS.
I only had 1 gig before and 4 gig is allot better. I run 4-7 programs at once all the time and the lockups have
gone down allot

I can only say why did I not do this sooner. Beyone the product itself is their customer service. Unfortunately,
misunderstanding when chatting on line so they sent me the wrong product. I was so disappointed.
However, I contacted them immediately they made it right that day and overnighted me the correct product,
no additional charge. I love this company and their products!

I needed additional RAM memory, the 2-2 GB cards maxed out my laptop capability. I had a local computer
store install the memory because one card was under the keyboard. One card was faulty, so I returned it.
The replacement came in about a week since I did not provide for special mail. Everything works well.
Thanks for a no-hassle return and replacement!!!

I bought two memory sticks. The first for my vista laptop that would freeze and run,load slow using only 1GB,
i installed the 2GB stick i bought from crucial in about 30 sec and now my computer runs like a new
machine, no more freezing tripled my load speed. The second was for my desktop, it's a dual core machine
that ran pretty good on 2GB but added 1GB memory stick for online gaming and load speed and it worked
great!!!.. Thanks Crucial

It works as expected for my Dell Inspiron E1505 with T7200 CPU. Only 3.25GB can be recognized by 64bit
Window 7 due to older Intel Chipset but that is all I need. I upgraded my windown OS first from XP to 7 and
then popped in the new 4G RAM and restarted the laptop. Then it worked. But be aware that if your Dell
Inspiron laptop comes with even older chipset such as T2000, it may not be upgradable as claimed by Dell.
