The popular 1N5283-1 t hru 1N5314-1 series of 0.5 wat t current regu l ators provides a s el ecti on
from 0 .22 mA to 4.7 mA in standar d 10% toler ances. These devi ces regulat e cu r r ent over a
broad voltag e range as a c ounter part offering to Zeners (that regulate voltage over a broad
current range) in similar size axial-leaded pac kages. The somewhat larger DO-7 packaging
opti on offer s a double-plug internal bond connection with a l ar ger acti ve die elemen t for it s
unique function as a current limiter. Microsemi also offers numerou s other Zener pr oducts to
meet higher and lower power voltage reg ulation applications.
